NO, our powder coating seals the steel member. Steel is also galvanized before coating so that if there is a scratch that occurs, you will have time to fix the problem before it starts, with the included scratch spray kit.

No, because Xccent Framing is made from steel which expands and contracts minimally compared to composite lumbers or wood.
